Contact list for people and companies
We provide a detailed contact list for people and companies.
Each person/company record includes: personal information, contact details and affiliations. Individuals can be affiliated to companies through a position within a particular department. Companies include a list of their staff, including position and department.
Contact details for people and companies are used as the basis for employee, client, service provider and supplier records. You never need to enter the same information twice.
Complete list of contact details
By default contact details include: mailing address, phone (landline, mobile, FAX), and electronic contact details (website, email, FTP). Mailing addresses have a customizable address label (for printing purposes).
In addition to the defaults you can set up custom contact details, such as: smartphone number, social media accounts, web page with list of products, department web page, and so on.
Phones and mailing details are searchable and can be shared between different people/companies. If a phone or mailing address is shared, changing the record in one place will automatically adjust the record for all associated people and companies.
Human resources
Our contact management software provides basic human resources support and integrate perfectly with our dedicated Human Resources Module.
Basic HR support lets you record details for employees on their: position, department, branch, id, rate, etc. Our Human Resources Module provides full HR support, including complete employee history.
HR contact details records are based on your contact list, so you never need to enter the same information twice.
Because HR records contain sensitive information you can apply viewing restrictions to control who can access full or partial records.
Client management
You can set any person, company, or a combination of the them as a client. Clients automatically inherit the contact details of its partners and company members.
For multi person/company clients (partnerships, joint ventures) you can describe the responsibility of each partner as well as their share of costs for billing purposes.
Client search allows you to find clients by their name, code, or members. You can directly access a client’s projects from the client details screen.
Supplier and service provider management
VGK contact management tools allow you to organize your suppliers and service providers. We call this category ‘vendors’. Additional support for vendors includes: vendor categorization and vendor assessment.
Vendor categorization allows you to organize your vendors in the way most suitable for your company, for example based on services and/or products that they offer.
Vendor assessment lets you rate performance of each vendor, helping you to choose the best suppliers and service providers on future projects.
Vendors automatically inherit contact information of the respective person/company, so you never need to enter/update contact details more than once.
Contact search
Contact search is the central hub of our contact management tools. We provide dedicated search for: people, companies, clients, employees, and vendors.
You can search for contacts in a wide variety of ways, including by: name, mailing address, phone, project involvement, vendor affiliation, client affiliation, company affiliation, employee status.
Search results display all related information for each contact, including clients affiliations, vendor affiliations, project involvement and company affiliations. You can directly access all relevant details (eg. projects, clients, vendor details) from the search result.
